Overview

YT Content Multiplier ("we", "us") provides a Chrome extension and supporting backend to repurpose YouTube videos into social content. We collect only the minimum data needed to operate the service and do not sell your data.

What we collect

• Account info: email, first/last name (for authentication and support)
• Credits and purchase records (to track usage and billing)
• Operational logs: request timestamps, token usage, errors
• Extension data: current page URL and extracted video metadata (title, optional transcript, optional description) when you click Generate

How we use data

• Authenticate you via Supabase
• Process generation requests through our backend
• Provide support and detect abuse
• Payments are processed by Stripe on our website; no card details are handled by the extension

Sharing

We use third parties solely to provide the service (e.g., Supabase for auth, Stripe for payments, Resend for email, OpenAI for text generation). We do not sell personal data.

Security

Credentials and keys are stored as environment variables. Transport uses HTTPS. Access is restricted on a need-to-know basis.

Retention

We retain account and billing records as required for operations and compliance. Generated content bodies may be automatically deleted after 7 days to reduce storage, while usage metadata is retained. You may request deletion by contacting support.

Your rights
